Be Strong in the Joy of the Lord
|
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But
by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. |
|
(Proverbs 15:13) |
Have you ever
looked at a person with a sad or anxious face? They have a dark cloud over
them and their face is full of sadness and worry. You have to wonder if
their face bares the fruit of their
Bible.
|
Casting the whole of your care [all your
anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on
Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you
watchfully. |
|
(1 Peter 5:7, Amplified Bible) |
As long as you carry your cares of this world in your heart you will be
weighed down with them and sink away from the power and love of the Lord
Jesus Christ. When you fix your eyes and heart on Him, you will be closer to
His power and love. Wherever Jesus went He would always tell the people to go or be in peace. When your eyes are upon Him and not on the cares of this world His
joy and peace will overflow through you. This will
bring the Lord Jesus Christ’s healing joy, peace and victory to you.
|
Now may the God of hope
fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by
the power of the Holy Spirit. |
|
(Romans 15:13) |
|
These things I have spoken
to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. |
|
(John 15:11) |
|
You have made known to me the ways of
life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence. |
|
(Acts 2:28) |
|
Now may the God of hope fill
you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the
power of the Holy Spirit. |
|
(Romans 15:13) |
| You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He
who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. |
|
(1 John 4:4) |
