SEEKING AND RECEIVING THE
PROMISES OF GOD
| But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you. |
|
(Matthew 6:33) |
God Almighty blessed us through the Lord Jesus
Christ with many promises and blessings. However, these can only come
through prayer and seeking a close, intimate relationship with the Father God
Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ.
| And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is
the first commandment. |
|
(Mark 12:30) |
He wants you to know He is your only source of
the abundant life, blessings and healing here and throughout eternity. In
John 10:9 Jesus says, "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be
saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." There are many doors you
can choose to go through in life. Some doors look beautiful and easy -
with no commitment. Other doors make tempting offers. But, they all
lead to death, destruction, sickness, poverty and despair. The Lord Jesus
Christ is the only door leading to eternal life. In the same gospel Jesus
says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me" (John 14:6).
When you set your heart on Him and seek Him daily, then you are acknowledging
Him as your source and your Lord, Savior, and Healer. The blessing of the
Lord will flow through you in a mighty way. The closer you come to Him,
the greater is His presence in your life. You were created to have a
intimate, loving fellowship with Him. He is your source!
| Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and
it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks
finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. |
|
(Matthew 7:7-8) |
| Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And
let them say continually, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in
the prosperity of His servant." |
|
(Psalm 35:27) |
| Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down
from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of
turning. |
|
(James 1:17) |
