DO NOT BE ANXIOUS OR HAVE ANY
CARES
| Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace
of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus. |
|
(Philippines 4:6-7) |
When your heart is anxious and filled with
cares you are trusting in your own strength and understanding. Anxiety will take
your heart and mind off of The Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. The Lord Jesus
Christ is waiting for you to call upon Him for help! Psalms 34:17 reminds
us that "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all
their troubles."
When you go to the Lord with your prayers and then thank Him in advance for the
victory. Then your heart will then enter into realm of His worry free
peace. The Lord can not help you unless you give Him all of your cares and
worries. Hebrews 4:16 teaches us how to approach God: "Let us therefore
come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to
help in time of need." Once you give Him your cares then He can move
mightily on your behalf! Your greatest obstacle to receive from God
Almighty is your trusting in your understanding. Proverbs 3:5 states,
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Trust
in Him, and not on your understanding, for the victory .
When you pray cast all of your cares on Him and start thanking Him in advance
for the victory. At that moment in time the peace of God that surpasses
all of your understanding will surround your heart, life and mind. You
will be in His glorious presence of peace instead of the midst of the storms and
cares of life. In His presence is the fullness of joy.
| Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries,
all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you
affectionately and cares about you watchfully. |
|
(1 Peter 5:7, Amplified Bible) |
| . . . in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ
Jesus for you. |
|
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) |
| Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His
mercy endures forever. |
|
(Psalm 106:1) |
| Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He
who promised is faithful. |
|
(Hebrews 10:23) |
