Looking Through the Eyes of the
Spirit of the Lord
| While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things
which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the
things which are not seen are eternal. |
|
(2 Corinthians 4:18) |
When you develop a close intimate fellowship
with the Lord Jesus Christ through praying in the Spirit you will start to see
through His eyes and feel through His heart. When situations happen in
your life, you will see them as the Lord Jesus Christ sees them. He always
sees the victory with a complete healing and with a overflowing restoration that
is greater than the beginning.
| And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there
was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his
servant said to him, 'Alas, my master! What shall we do?' So
he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those
who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, and said, 'LORD, I pray, open
his eyes that he may see.' Then the LORD opened the eyes of the
young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses
and chariots of fire all around Elisha. |

(2 Kings 6:15-17) |
The Lord Jesus Christ wants you to be in
constant fellowship with Him. The more you yield your heart to Him, the
greater His power and love will flow through you to this world! The more
you know about Him through reading and meditating on His Word in the Bible, the
more you will be just like Him. You were created by God for fellowship
with Him. The closer you come to God, the closer He comes to you.
All the great men and woman of faith in the Bible had a very close, intimate
fellowship with God through prayer. "For the eyes of the LORD run to and
fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose
heart is loyal to Him" (2 Chronicles 16:9). Start every day by praying in
the Spirit and increasing the time weekly to develop a deep prayer and
fellowship with God. The more you pray in the Spirit, the more you yield
your heart to Him!
| For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open
to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil. |
|
(1 Peter 3:12) |
| The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of
all their troubles. |
|
(Psalm 34:17) |
| The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And
delivers them. |
|
(Psalm 34:7) |
