LOOK UP, YOUR HELP COMES FROM
ABOVE, NOT FROM THIS WORLD
| If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are
above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on
things above, not on things on the earth. |
|
(Colossians 3:1) |
The Lord Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price
for you with His precious blood, so you can live and walk in this world in total
victory! Romans 8:37 states, "Yet in all these things we are more than
conquerors through Him who loved us." All through the Bible help came when the
children of God called out to God Almighty! Many people never call out or
pray when they have needs. They have a false religious doctrine that if it
is God’s will He will do something. When you pray or call out to God
Almighty you are acknowledging He is your God and your only Source.
| Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own
understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your
paths. |
|
(Proverbs 3:5-6) |
Whenever you acknowledge Jesus Christ you are
glorifying Him. God Almighty created you to praise and glorify Him for all
the wonderful and great things He has done for you through the Lord Jesus
Christ. He will never forsake, forget or leave you! When you come to
Him with prayer or praise you are glorifying Him. When you try to overcome
problems in life in your own strength and power you are denying Him!
| If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you
desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is
glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. |
|
(John 15:7-8) |
| And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You,
LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. |
|
(Psalms 9:10) |
| Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may
obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. |
|
(Hebrews 4:16) |
| I will lift up my eyes to the hills; From whence comes my help? My
help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow
your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. |
|
(Psalms 121:1-3) |
| The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of
all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And
saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the
righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all. |

(Psalm 34:17-19) |
