YOUR PRAYER RELEASES THE
MIRACLE POWER OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE
Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up
the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of
Israel: "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley
of Aijalon." So the sun stood still,
And the moon stopped, till the people had revenge upon their enemies.
Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in
the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.
And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD
heeded the voice of a man; for the LORD fought for Israel. |

As a born again believer you have inherited
the greatest and most powerful power in all of existence. That power is in
and released through you when you pray in the name of Jesus. In John
14:13-14 Jesus says, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the
Father may be glorified in the Son. "If you ask anything in My name, I will do
it." Many Christian's prayers are not answered because they are not heard
by the Lord Jesus Christ. Only prayers of faith and belief can enter into
the throne room of heaven. In Mark 11:24 Jesus says, "Therefore I say to
you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and
you will have them.
When you pray you must believe your prayers are being heard. Many
Christians religiously and half-heartedly pray without any belief that Jesus
will hear or respond to their needs. In Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If
you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." A Christian
who believes is one who has daily fellowship with the Lord based on a Divine
Love for Him. Without the love of God flowing in your prayers, they wont be
heard. In 1 Corinthians 13:1 Paul says, "though I speak with the tongues
of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a
clanging cymbal." A daily prayer life will keep you in the divine love and
relationship with God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ. When you have
daily fellowship with Him you can believe Him to answer all your needs and
prayers! This is easy to do when you realize that God Almighty and the
Lord Jesus Christ loves you so much, that they want you to come into their
presence daily to pour out their love on you!
| Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that
it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six
months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth
produced its fruit. |
