The Power of God’s Joy in Your Life
A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

(Proverbs 17:22)

There is a great and wonderful Power deposited inside your Spirit by the Lord Jesus Christ and it is called the "joy of the Lord."  The Lord Jesus Christ says in John 15:11, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."  When your eyes are fixed upon Jesus no matter what the circumstance is, His Joy and assurance of victory will always rise up and strengthen you with His power

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 4:6-7)

Where are your eyes and heart fixed upon today?  If it is on the cares and troubles of this world you will be weighed down and powerless.  His Joy will heal you and give you the strength and power to live and be a overcomer in the victory of the Lord.

Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad.

(Proverbs 12:25, Amplified Bible)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things.

(Philippians 4:8)

A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is broken.

(Proverbs 15:13 Amplified Bible)
