TO KNOW HIS LOVE IS TO KNOW HIS POWER

. . . that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

(Ephesians 3:17-20)

When the Lord Jesus Christ first appeared to me, the very first thing I noticed was that His eyes overflow with rivers of living love!  His glorious presence overflows with His divine love and peace!  The very first thing a person realizes when they receive the Lord Jesus Christ in their heart is the overwhelming love and peace of God that flows in and through their heart!  The love and peace of God Almighty was sent to you as a permanent promise for all of eternity.  This love and peace is lost when you stray away from His love and set your eyes and heart on the cares, desires of this world.  First John 2:15-17 warns,

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life; is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

When your eyes and heart are fixed and grounded on the Lord Jesus Christ, His blessings and love will overflow through you to this world.  God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ are 100% pure love.  There is nothing else in them!  When you live through them, then their love lives through you!  First John 4:9 teaches, "In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him."  The more time you spend in prayer and praise the closer you come to Him.  The closer you come to Him the more you will be like Him and His love, peace and power will flow through you to this world!

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

(1 John 4:8)

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

(1 John 4:16)
