What Giants Are In Your Life?
| But my servant Caleb,
because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will
bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. |
|
(Numbers 14:24) |
When it was time for the children of Israel
to possess the promise land they panicked in fear, because there were giants
in that land. "There we saw the giants (the descendants of
Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own
sight, and so we were in their sight" (Numbers 13:33 ). When the Lord Jesus Christ
makes you a promise there is no power in existence that can stop it but you
by taking your eyes off of Jesus. The circumstance may be impossible to you
by your own strength and resources. When we trust and follow Jesus there is
nothing impossible with God. Our power is in Him and through the name of
Jesus Christ. Caleb understood the power of God and he pleased God.
The Lord spoke to me years ago and said "Many say they are led by my
spirit, but to be led they must first follow me
and my words." That means keeping your eyes on Jesus and not on your
self. Prayer is the greatest power in all of existence and it will always
keep you dependant on the Power of God. When you look away to the
circumstance and symptoms you are turning away from the Power and Love of
God. The devil will always use circumstances and symptoms to distract you
from following Jesus to your victories in life.

Only do not
rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they
are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD
is with us. Do not fear them. |

(Numbers 14:9) |
|
Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have
[already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist],
because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in
the world. |

(1 John 4:4,
Amplified
Bible) |
|
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one
is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. "I and My Father are
one. |

(John 10:29-30) |
| The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they
hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their
hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on
stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with
gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a
time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake,
immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they
are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the
deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke
the word, and it becomes unfruitful. |
